Fresh Is Healthy

baja-fresh-food

I have been telling you that eat fresh every time. This is because the nutrition that your body gets from fresh fruits, vegetables or cooked food is unmatched.

Similarly, instead of drinking packed juices, go for a fresh fruit juice or shake. It is healthy and satisfies your appetite too. Though the pack says that the juice is ‘fresh’ think about the fact that how can it stay fresh for about three months? The manufacturers have to add some preservatives for increasing the life of the juice.

So go for freshly made food products. You will become healthier and happier!

Are You Anorexic?

anorexic

Teenage girls are wowed by looking at the skinny size-zero models strutting down the ramp and wish to be like them. They stop eating ‘high-calorie’ food and depend on salads and other so-called ‘diet’ food to achieve that model look! I know of many normal-weight girls who are hell-bent on reducing further weight.

They are so enchanted about being thinner that they end up losing weight in a wrong way and this affects their entire health. Such people are called anorexic. So if ever you feel you have to lose weight, consult a weight-loss consultant. Who knows, she might feel that you have the perfect body weight!

Emergency can strike anytime and if you love your family, a health insurance cover is a must. Nobody would like to get a chance to be able to benefit from that policy as it means losing a loved one’s life! If you are the sole bread-winner or even otherwise, think of the health insurance premium paid as an investment to protect your spouse and kids.

So contact your life insurance advisor today and rest assured about your family.

Do You Eat Leftovers?

3239097_b317eea251

I am not saying that one should simply dispose of the leftovers and waste food. Do not eat food that is more than a day old as it is difficult to digest and has lost most of its nutritional value.

Though it seems convenient to do the cooking on weekends, it is not good for health. You can save time for cooking on weekdays by doing the chopping and cutting on the weekend. It is always better to spend some time cooking fresh food without being lazy than consuming medicines later for indigestion!

Tell me what you think about it!

Healthy Eating Habits

food_group_image

Did you know that simply eating healthy food and consuming power drinks etc cannot build the body tissue? There are some other things that have to be kept in mind along with this.

You should eat 4-5 times a day at mostly fixed timings. Don’t skip lunch or dinner if you have to reduce weight. Remember not to snack on food in between meals. Drinking lot of water throughout the day is advisable, but never immediately before a meal or while having it. The digestive juices get diluted and slow down digestion if you do this.

Eat healthy, think better!

Positive thinking

everyday_positive_thinking_large
Positive thinking is also very important in the health of an individual. This is because when one takes a positive approach to life, he does get worried and does not also develop anxiety over some life issues. Worry and anxiety are just like stress, do a lot of harm to the body. These two can make one to develop stomach ulcers which interfere with one’s eating patterns. When one does not eat regularly he has health problems. They also make one not to sleep well as he is constantly thinking about the future. Positive thinking helps one to maintain a balanced mind which is very important in the observation of daily health routines.

Avoiding stress

untitled4

Stress and depression are not good for body health. Stress hinders good body health in several ways;
When an individual is stressed, he can not concentrate on life issues properly. Stress makes it difficult for him to observe proper eating habits and exposing his body to dangers of malnutrition. It also makes an individual not to get enough sleep. This makes the body cells not to function well and hence poor health. Stress also interferes with the proper functioning of the body organs the heart and the digestive system involved. These organs are very important and, therefore, when they are interfered, it becomes difficult for the body to have good health owing to the roles they play in body health. One should avoid stress by all means.

Taking a lot of water

woman_drinking_water
Water helps proper body health. Water has several functions in the body. Firstly, it helps in the digestion of food during the digestion process. When water is not enough, food digestion becomes a problem and one finds that he is not getting proper ingredients in the body and hence bad health. Secondly, water helps in the perspiration process where the body wastes are removed from the body. For the skin to remove sweat it needs water, for one to urinate water facilitates the process and therefore it is important that one takes a lot of water so that he can remove waste from the body and avoid dirt accumulation which causes diseases hence poor helath.

Taking a regular shower

shwr
Taking a regular shower is very important for good health. This especially helps the skin. The skin is a very important respiratory organ as helps remove some dirt from the body through sweat. As the skin perspirates, some dirt gets clogged in the skin pores blocking them. This prevents the skin from carrying out its functions well. If some waste is not removed from the body, it does no good to the body. All it does is to poison the body cells. This prevents proper health and can cause cell diseases apart from the skin diseases caused by lack of taking a good shower.

Sleep is very important in anybody’s health life. Sleep just like food is very important for the growth of the body. Sleep helps the body to rest so that the brain can organize itself and coordinate other body parts properly. When one sleeps, he gives the body a time off so that it can replace the worn out cells that were spent during the daily hustle. It should be noted that one should also sleep on good beddings so that any disturbance can be avoided during sleeping time and even proper sleeping position is very important. Sleep also takes away the fatigue accumulated during the day.
